Restorer2000 logs and displays events in the panel. You may set a Log filter to display only needed information and to write it to a log file.

Log filter options

If selected, Restorer2000 logs all events with a file.

File system
|
If selected, Restorer2000 logs all events with the file system on the disk.

Partition

If selected, Restorer2000 logs all events with the partition.

|
If selected, Restorer2000 logs all events with the disk.

Restore
|
If selected, Restorer2000 logs all events with the restoring processes.
|
Disk
|
If selected, Restorer2000 logs all events with disks.

Network
|
If selected, Restorer2000 logs all events with network operation.

Severity

Error
|
If selected, Restorer2000 adds error messages into its log.

Warning
|
If selected, Restorer2000 adds warning messages into its log.

Information
|
If selected, Restorer2000 adds information messages into its log.

Success
|
If selected, Restorer2000 adds success messages into its log.

Save to File
|
If checked, Restorer2000 writes its log into a log file specified in the Log to File: field.

Rewrite/Append
|
Select if you want to rewrite a log file, or append log information to this file.

Note: If in the dialog the Condense successful restoration events option is selected, the Log will display only Error, Warning, and Information event messages.

You may clear the log by selecting Clear Log... in the context menu, or Clear Log in Tools on the main menu.
You may save the log by selecting Save Log to File... in the context menu or Save Log to File in Tools menu.
