Or you may completely lose all your data.

Any object visible by Restorer2000 can be viewed and edited.

Before you can physically write anything on a disk, you need to enable writing.

To enable writing,

¡Go to Options in the Tools menu and select Enable write on the Main tab.

 

To view/edit an object,

Right-click the object and select View/Edit in the context menu, or

Select the object and select View/Edit in the Files menu

View the information and make necessary changes

Select Enable Write in the Tools menu if you want to save changes

You may select an area in the Viewer/Editor panel and save it as a file. Use your mouse or select Select... in the Tools menu to select the data.

Select Save to Binary File... or Save to Hexadecimal File in the File menu to save the selected data to the file.

To search for a particular string, click the Find, Find Next, or Find Previous buttons, and specify the string on the Search dialog message. You may specify the string in the HEX, ANSI, OEM, or UNICODE encoding.

To move to a particular part of the object being viewed/edited, select Goto (or press the F5 key) in the Tools menu and specify the offset on the  Go to message.

ƒClick the Save Changes button to save the changes
ÜViewer/Editor will save the changes on the object
